During KBSR, teachers teach English using a whole sound instead of segmenting it, but now, in KSSR, teachers have to teach based on letters sound, aka phonics and phonemes.
For me, I think it is really hard, considering that I do not learn it that way. But, well, as teacher, you have to be adaptable, so I learn and decided to give it a try. It was really hard at the beginning, but pupils like it. Some pupils find it easier to learn.
