Story Telling Script - The Brave Monkey

This is a simple storytelling script for phase 1 pupils ...

The title is "The Brave Monkey"

Tommy the monkey lived in the treetop with his family. Tommy is a kind hearted monkey that likes to help his family. Everybody adores him.

 One day, Mama monkey went out to look for food in the wood.

After a while, Mama Monkey came back with plenty of apples. As the apples were a lot, she asked Tommy for help.

“Tommy, helps me carry these apples, “. Calls Mama Monkey excitedly.

Allright Mommy. I will help you. Please wait a while.

However, suddenly, a tiger appeared  and grabed the Mama Monkey away. The tiger wanted to eat Mama Monkey.

 “ Help ! Help me, Tommy ! .. Mama Monkey shouted as loud as she can.

As fast as lighting, Tommy ran to help his mother. He did not think about his safety. Tommy grabbed a piece of wood and he hit the tiger hard on his head … Whamm !!!!!

The tiger was hurt from the hit, but it attacked again. Then, Tommy threw big stones to the tiger. This time, the tiger wash urt badly and it ran away to the jungle.

Then, Tommy quickly carried his mother up to the treetop. Tommy was happy that his mother is safe. Tommy mother’s thanked and hugged Tommy tightly. She was so proud to have Tommy as his son.

The moral value of the story is to love your mother unconditionally because mother takes good care of us. That’s all from me, thank you.
