Sample answer 2
Today is the first Sunday for the month of May. It is Mother’s Day. Dila wants to celebrate her mother. So, she tells her mother to just lay back and relax for the day. She cleans the house earnestly. She vacuums the carpet and throws the rubbish into the dustbin. She also dusts the furniture spotlessly. Her mother smiles looking at Dila while she reads a magazine.
Then, she bakes a massive chocolate cake. She does it all by herself using her mother’s recipe that she has learnt by heart. The cake smells delicious and it makes Dila’s mouth waters. But they wait for her father to come home. When her father arrives home, Dila serves her parents with a slice of the cake. They praised her for her hard work. They are proud to have a caring and hardworking daughter. She is the apple of their eyes.
At night, her father treats Dila and her mother to a hearty dinner. They go to a luxurious restaurant near their house. They also order her mother’s favourite food. She is contented and happy. This has been a memorable day for her.
