Teaching Phonemes, Phonics

During KBSR, teachers teach English using a whole sound instead of segmenting it, but now, in KSSR, teachers have to teach based on letters sound, aka phonics and phonemes.

For me, I think it is really hard, considering that I do not learn it that way. But, well, as teacher, you have to be adaptable, so I learn and decided to give it a try. It was really hard at the beginning, but pupils like it. Some pupils find it easier to learn.

Turn out too, there are many resources to teach phonemes and phonics. Here is the website that I really recommend to learn more about phonics and phonemes. There are so many great resources.
