On
the month of April, Sekolah Alam Shah conducted a cleanliness campaign. Therefore, all the
classes need to participate in the program. Thus a
"gotong-royong" was held. On
that day, all the pupils of Sekolah Seri Alam came early in the morning
equipped with the cleaning materials like mops, pails and clothes.
During
the "gotong-royong", some of the pupils washed the windows using a wet
cloth. The girl swept the floor and threw the rubbish into the dustbin. Then,
they mopped the floor. The boys arranged the chairs and tables neatly and
tidily. It was really hard work to
finish cleaning up their classroom. Every pupil worked up to their bones.
By
late afternoon, every single classroom was cleaned. There were as clean as a
new pin. The headmaster inspected the classes. He praised the pupils on their
impressive work. It was a job well done. He was so proud of them. Then, the
pupils proceeded to the canteen and have a hearty lunch prepared by the
teachers. Although they were very tired, they were very happy because now their
school is clean and tidy. It was unforgettable day for the school.
